The macLYON sets up tools and mediations adapted to people with disabilities, allowing the best visiting conditions for everyone.

 

Come to the museum

The entrance complies with standards for people with reduced mobility is on the covered street side, opposite the UGC cinema. It leads directly to the ticket office and the elevators.

Parking of PRM vehicles is possible in the P0 car park (vehicle height 1.90m maximum). 45 minutes of parking offered to museum visitors (except Biennale period).

The TCL buses which serve the macLYON are the C1, the C4 and the C5. The “Musée d'art contemporain de Lyon” stop is located in front of the museum, on the Park side.

Guide dogs are welcome at the museum.

Equipment to welcome you

A magnetic induction loop (BIM) system is located at reception and at the elevators. 

Wheelchairs and folding seats are available at reception.

Elevators: all areas of the museum are accessible by elevator. The floors are indicated in Braille and by voice.

Toilets equipped for people with reduced mobility are available on the mezzanine (ES), at the entrance to the exhibitions.

Auditorium - conference room: to ensure a place accessible to people with reduced mobility during an event, please contact us before your arrival.
